  • Hi friends, just a little update on my life. I hope things are well for you too. Consider this tough economy, many young men like me are graduating but unable to find job.

As for me, I work 40-56hr/week, waking up at 4:30AM, work begins at 6 and ends at 3PM; total of 40hr/week for 2 first weeks in a month. Then I wake up at 3:30Am and begin my work from 5AM-4PM, sartuday I work from 5-11AM, total of 56hr per week for the remainder 2 weeks of the month.

It's not an engineering job but a test technician. I do trouble shooting, failure analysis and writing reports for FDA. It's more of a quality assurance/test position.

I have been actively looking for new engineering jobs every day after work. I would like to have a position that has a much friendlier working hours than my current job but I couldn't find any. Please continue to pray for my job search. I would like to use all the  engineering skills I had learned in school and put it to work. Please pray for me.

  • 40-50hr work week yet I still don't have enough money to pay for my rent and needs. Yet, at the end of the month, my checking has $13-$28. This month, I'm short $300. Now, car registrations are due, car insurance must be renewed, student loans, phone bills are due. I don't really know what to do. I'll pay rent late 2 more times then the city will terminate my mobile home residency. I need to come up with $1350 by July 11 and $1195 by August 1st. I don't know what to do or who to ask for helps. I wonder how God will help me or if He will do anything at all.

  • My mind plays tricks on me a lot. When I was little, I saw myself get out of bed at night and went to the bathroom; then I woke up and found out that I wet the bed. I didn't get up going to the bathroom at all. On Sunday, I had a car accident. My mind played tricks on me again. I saw myself get out of the car, walked away from the scene, talk to the other drivers. Suddenly I felt like someone was shaking my shoulder and pushing something down my throat. I woke up and realized that I was inside an ambulance, heading to Irvine Medical Center.

The hospital is not so bad. For $100 co-pay per day, I have my own room, wireless internet access ready, having this gentle nurse checking on me every 2 hours, 3 meals per day and I get to watch cable TV too. I feel like a King.

The best thing is my parents dont' know about this accident. I wish they let me stay here for the whole week instead of checking out on Thursday.
